Professional Biography
Karen Peyronnin is the director of the Executive Master programs at École des Ponts ParisTech in France, a position she has held since December 2018.
She began her distinguished career in higher education at BINUS University in Jakarta, Indonesia, in 2008 as a lecturer. During her decade-long tenure at BINUS, she spearheaded several critical strategic initiatives.
Accreditation Pioneer
Led the first EPAS accreditation in Indonesia, setting a new benchmark for educational standards in the region.
Ranking Strategy
Directed international and industry partnerships, the international office, and steered the global QS ranking strategy.
Beyond her leadership in accreditation and internationalization, she served as the head of an international business bachelor program, bridging the gap between academic theory and global industry requirements.
A French national, Karen graduated from ESG Paris (PGSM) with a Master’s in International Business. Her background is uniquely enriched by substantial European corporate experience.
Before transitioning to academia, she excelled in international business development at Amore Pacific in Paris, France, and specialized in supply chain management at Toyota Europe in Brussels, Belgium. This duality of corporate and academic expertise makes her a vital asset to the AppliedHE Ranking Advisory Board.
